Heavy Rainy Season

We have had a very heavy rainy season, this summer, and with the heavy rain comes problems for homeowners.  When I go out to check the homes that are vacant, I make sure to look for water damage and stains on the ceiling, flooding in the yard, heavy mold build up in the lanai area, and an increase in insect infestation.  These are all things that are more prevalent from heavy rain.  The area is so saturated from all the rain, that most of the yards have standing water.  This is just one of the items that can be of concern for a part time homeowner.  Some of our storms can be very damaging and take tiles or shingles off a roof.  It is a good idea to have a home watch in place for that very reason.
